W. S. GRANT PASSES AWAY IN McKINNEY

Mr. William Samuel Grant, 74, of 1501 North Bradley St., passed away at 12:15 a.m. Friday, May 22, at the City County Hospital. Mr. Grant has been ill for the past two years. He was born in North Carolina but has lived in Collin County for 50 years. He is a retired farmer and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Mr. Grant is survived by his wife, Mrs. W. S. Grant, of
McKinney, one daughter, Mrs. P. M. Cundiff, of Allen, one granddaughter, Mrs. Harry Clinton, Jr.; three brothers, one sister, and one great grandchild.
The funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Leon Savage of McKinney Saturday, May 23 at 2 p.m. at the Turrentine-Jackson Chapel. Interment will be at Restland Memorial with Turrentine-Jackson in charge.
