Funeral services for Dr. Jordon Franklin Cashon, Jr., 53, of Kilgore, who died Friday evening at a Dallas hospital, will be held at 11 a.m., Monday at the First Baptist Church in Kilgore. The service will be conducted by Rev. O. D. Oliver
Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. at the Ridgeview Memorial Park with Calvin Ussery, pastor of the First Baptist church of Fairview, officiating.
Cashon, a dentist, was born Nov. 7, 1928 in McKinney to the late Mr. and Jordon Franklin Sr. He graduated from McKinney High School, North Texas State University and the Baylor University College of Dentistry. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kilgore where he was a deacon. He was in the air force, a master mason and was a member of several professional dentistry associations.
He was married Aug. 15, 1948 to Norma Ruth Furr in Collin County.
Survivors include his wife of Kilgore; two daughters, Mrs. B. G. (Cindy) Blair of Jacksonville, Fla., Miss Lisa Cashon of Kilgore; his mother, Mrs. Len Cashon of McKinney.
