In 1910 the Curtis family is living next door to the Crouches on Parker Road. They had been married 20 years and were from Lincoln County, Tennessee. Brother W. S. Curtis and mother in law Mary Summers are living with the family. All of the family, except for Hubert and Raymond, were born in Tennessee. Minnie is a daughter of George Summers and Amanda Pamplin. Walter is a son of John Thomas Curtis and Elizabeth Catherine Franklin. Walter Mays, Minnie Bell, and Harry Tracy Curtis are all buried in the West Hill Cemetery in Sherman, Texas. George Thomas Curtis is buried in Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney. William Smith (Jack) Curtis is in the Allen Cemetery. Walter Bell Curtis is buried in the Decatur-Maxwell-Murphy Cemetery in Murphy, Texas.
