Pair to mark 50 years wed
Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Murphy, 712 Walker, McKinney, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, in their home.
Hosts for the affair will be their five children, Delilla Wilson, Robert Murphy and Johnny Murphy of McKinney, Margie Edmonds of Princeton, and Laverne Nagel of Onowa, Iowa.
The couple has 16 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
They were married on Oct. 8, 1929 in McKinney and are lifelong residents of this city.
All friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend the celebration.
