Last rites were read fro David McPherson (Mack) George, age 72, of 1116 16th Street February 10 at 4 p.m. in the Harrington-Bratcher-Dickey Chapel with Reverend Morris Beard officiating.
A lifetime resident of Plano, George was a retired postal clerk for the U. S. Postal Service. He was born September 8, 1901, and died February 8 in Dallas.
The Plano native was a member of the 1st Christian Church where he served as a Deacon for many years. He also was a Sunday School teacher.
He is survived by 1 brother, Joe George, of Houston.
Pallbearers were Vernon Robinson, Lewis Robinson, Raymond Robinson, Lee Mayfield, Billie Wayne Creed and Jim Patton. The Plano Masonic Lodge served as honorary pallbearers.
