In the July 1, 1897, there is an account of the infant’s death.
“Clark Moor Cathey, some of J. H. Cathey, died at the home of V. A. Moor, its little body was laid to rest beside the newly made grave of his mother and twin brother.”
In a search of some of the old McKinney City Directory we see:
Thomas B. Cathey, wife Wilma, teacher, 1940.
