Funeral services for Mr. Elmer C. McMurray, 100, of McKinney, who died Sunday, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church of McKinney, with Rev. Leslie Hames officiating.
Interment will be in Pecan Grove Cemetery.
He was born July 10, 1993 in Richardson, the son of Ed and Desoto McMurray and married Reppie Jane Cooper, October 7, 1906 in Westminster, Texas. He was a retired farmer and a member of First Christian Church, and served as elder for many years.
Survivors include one son E. C. McMurray, Graham, Texas; three daughters Mrs. Jewell Wallace, Miss Lucille McMurray, and Mrs. Marie Prince, all of McKinney; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, wife and four brothers.
