T. W. Andrews
BIRTHDAY DINNER AT ANDREWS HOME
Plano Star Courier, January 6, 1922
Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Andrews entertained a party of their friends and their children and grandchildren at their handsome farm home, four miles northwest of the city last Thursday. The dining was enlivened with true Christmas spirit and commemorating also the 68th birthday of Mr. Andrews. A member of the party a remote kinsman of Mr. Andrews, described the events of the day as a sumptuous dinner, the finest of courtesy, and an afternoon of games attended with gaiety and good will throughout the afternoon. This kinsman did not deceive the writer by pretending that he was not proud of his relationship, he was merely trying to camouflage his satisfaction with good company he met and the good entertainment enjoyed.
Mr. and Mrs. Andrews are among the most prominent and influential citizens of Collin county. They have lived here for many years and every year adds something to the extent of their circle of friends and to the wealth of esteem and affection in which they are held.
The guests were:
Mrs. Max Hahn and her two daughters, Mrs. Gus Hahn and Mrs. Charles Hahn and their four children, all of Dallas; Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Sandifer and Mrs. Amanda Mathews, Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Kendrick and their daughter, Miss Ima Lola, of Sherman, and Lilburn Kendrick.
