Oswell and Samuel had brothers William J. or G. and L. N. or M. and they were living on the William A. S. Bohannon survey, southeast of McKinney, as late as 1865, indicated by land transactions recorded in McKinney.
By 1870, Oswell, Samuel, William and L. N. were no longer living in that area as they do not appear on the census. But in the village of Farmersville, 1870 census:
