The Heritage Farmstead in Plano, Tx, owned by Hunter Farrell, is where my Ggrandfather and Ggrandmother lived and worked for 24 years. Hunter Farrell was the son of Joel and Mary Jane Newcomb Farrell. His son Cephus William Farrell and Mary Jane Freeman Farrell had my G-grandfather Joseph Tomas (Tom) Farrell who married Nannie Jane Lawrence Farrell. These last two are my Ggrandparents. I remember this farm and remember the farm that my G-grandfather bought in 1933 in Collin Co., Tx. Most are buried in the Rowlett Creek Cemetery.
There was also a article done on my Ggrandmother Nannie Jane Farrell w/o Thomas Joseph (Tom) Farrell the year she turned 100 years by Nelda Whitehead called Birthday Observed. This article would have been done in Dec. 1975, Nannie Farrell’s birthday was Dec. 16, 1875. I was there for her celebration....
