REV. AND MRS. CLIFTON IGO TO BE HONORED

Rev. and Mrs. Clifton Igo will be honored with a reception by their children from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9 at 503 N. 18th St., Lamesa, Texas in observance of their 25th Wedding Anniversary.
The couple are the parents of two sons and three daughters, Johnnie of Plainview, Linda Myrick, of Lubbock, Judy, Anthony and Marsha of the home.
Mrs. Igo is the former Norma Spradling of Gunter, Texas. The couple was married Aug. 6, 1939, in the Tioga Community near Gunter, Texas.
Rev. Igo was called to preach in 1951 and has pastored churches in and near McKinney and Van Alstyne, Texas. He and his family moved to Lubbock in 1954 where he pastored the Southside Baptist Church for seven years. He is now serving as pastor of the Second Baptist Church, Lamesa, Texas.
The refreshment table will be laid with a white lace cloth over pink. The center piece will be pink roses and bells of Ireland.
