COUPLE SAYS PLEDGES IN BAPTIST RITES
The First Baptist Church of Farmersville was the setting for the wedding of Ronda Carol Hardy and Stephen lee Harrington. The Rev. J. B. Lovelace of Dallas, uncle of the groom, officiated at the double ring ceremony. The wedding blessing was offered by the Rev. James Wicker, pastor of the church.
Escorted to the altar by her ?ther, Joe West of Mesquite, the bride wore a gown of organza, lace and seed pearls....
Attending the bride were Miss Margaret Duran of Mesquite and Mrs. Stacy Gebhard of El Paso, sister of the groom. They wore formal length gowns of red ruffled taffeta and carried white heart-shaped grapevine wreaths entwined with red roses, bows and streamers.
Sarah Hughes of Sherman, cousin of the groom, was flower girl. She wore a formal length red dress with white lace collar and carried a white wicker basket of rose petals. Attendants for the groom were ?ley Pollard of Lewisville, who served as best man, and Barry ?ker of Farmersville, groomsman. Ring bearer was ?ome Hughes of Sherman, cousin of the groom. Mike Archbold of Mesquite, step-brother of the bride, and Steve Cox of Dallas were ushers....
Music was furnished by Mrs. Linda Speir, organist.
The reception was held at the O. E. Carlisle Center....
Upon entering, guests were registered by Mrs. Stacy Gebhard...The rice bags were later distributed by Angie Riley, cousin of the groom....
Serving at the bride’s table were Mrs. Pam Goolsby of Rowlett, cousin of the groom, Mrs. Carol Torres of Ft. Worth and Miss Margaret Duran of Mesquite....
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Harrington, parents of the groom, were hosts for the rehearsal dinner at the O. E. Carlisle Center.
