Wednesday at 1:00 o’clock, Miss Ova Ford of this city and Oscar Shatley of Tulsa, Okla., were united in marriage at the home of the bride’s grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. G. C. Ford, 1196 Hamilton Street, this city with Rev. Ford officiating.
Mrs. Shatley is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Ford of this city. She attended the public schools here and is popular among the city’s younger set. Her wedding dress was blue crepe with tan accessories. Her only attendant was Mrs. Euel Ford, her sister-in-law.
Mr. Shatley is the youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Shatley and a grandson of the late Rev. Cook, Methodist minister of the city.
After a short wedding trip the couple will be at home in Tulsa where Mr. Shatley is associated with the Railway Express Agency.
