J. C. BRIDGEFARMER RITES FRIDAY

Funeral services for J. C. , 208 Morris St., will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Harris-Horn Funeral Chapel.
Bridgefarmer, 88, died at 5 p.m. Wednesday in Collin County Memorial Hospital following an illness of several months.
He was a retired farmer and he was born June 20, 1881 in Kentucky.
He was of the Methodist faith.
His parents were Dr. D. E. Bridgefarmer and the former Nancy Melinda Willis.
He married the former Dixie Barnes of McKinney in an Aug. 13, 1907 ceremony in McKinney. His wife preceded him in death in March of this year.
Survivors include three sons, Grady of McKinney; Ben of Dallas; and billy of Dallas; and four daughters, Mrs. Louise Reeder of McKinney; Bessie B. Bridgefarmer of McKinney; Mrs. Juanita Simmons of McKinney; and Mrs. Ruth McLeod of Dallas.
Surviving also are three sisters, Mrs. Henry Myrick of McKinney; Mrs. Dora Barker of McKinney; and Mrs. Joe Avens of McKinney; one brother Wesley Bridgefarmer of McKinney; and thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Rev. Robert Hooks of the First Christian Church and Rev. Joe McElroy of the East Christian Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Wilson Chapel Cemetery.
