ELMER BOMARS CELEBRATE ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bomar, Route 3, McKinney celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Sunday, October 21, with open house at their home. The party was given by their children and grandchildren as follows: Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Bomar, Mr. and Mrs. Avery Bomar, Forrest D., George and Byron, Mr. and Mrs. Forrest R. Bomar, Susan and Julia.
Guests were served cup caked decorated in gold rosebuds, coffee and punch. A beautiful lace cloth covered the table on which was a three-tiered cake decorated in white wedding bells and gold leaves. The centerpiece was large gold tinted yellow and bronze mums, clusters of artificial green grapes and gold leave. The background for gold numerals, "50," with two gold bells towering above.
The honored couple received many beautiful gifts, flowers and congratulatory messages.
Guests who registered during the afternoon were Mr. and Mrs. Joe C. Henry of Sherman; Sandria Carpenter, Lancaster; Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Dickenson, Melissa; Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Vernie Miller of Princeton.
