Services for Ray Edwards, 58, of Fort Worth, who died Friday at his residence, were held this morning at 10:30 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Malcolm Cave officiating. Burial followed in Pecan Grove Cemetery under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors.
Edwards was born Oct. 23, 1936, in McKinney, to Jesse Lee and Ronnie Lee Morris Edwards. He married Mary Ellen Anderson of McKinney on April 24, 1955. He was a baker at Rainbow Bakery, a member of the Baptist faith and an Army and Mason veteran in Bauxite, Ark.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Edwards of Fort Worth; two sons, Stephen R. Edwards of The Colony and Charles Edwards of Fort Wroth; a daughter, Debra Edwards of Burleson; a brother, James Lee Edwards of McKinney and two grandchildren.
