Funeral services for Mr. Jessie Jenkins, 67 who died Friday at his residence in McKinney will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Reverend Lonnie Murphy officiating. Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park Cemetery with Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in charge.
He was born in Collin County, October 25, 1918, the son of James Russell Jenkins and Lucindia McCallister, and married Mrs. Beulah Blankenship September 3, 1949 in McKinney. He was a retired security guard of Texas Instruments and a member of the Baptist faith and a veteran of WW II in the Army.
Survivors include his wife Beulah of McKinney, one daughter Mrs. Wayne (Nancy) Burrows of Plano, four brothers Leonard Jenkins of Houston, Grady Jenkins and Joe Jenkins both of McKinney and Raymond Jenkins of Lavon, also several other nieces and nephews.
