RETIRED FARMER DIES; SUNDAY SERVICES SET
McKINNEY – Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in Turrentine-Jackson Funeral Chapel for Guy (Son) Hall, 83, retired Collin County farmer, who died at 12:30 Saturday in a McKinney hospital.
Rev. Henry Wood and Rev. S. D. Lindsey will conduct services. Burial will be in Pecan Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Hall was born Nov. 12, 1879, in McKinney, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Hill. [sic] He married Miss Sara Rutherford Sept. 1, 1901, in McKinney. He was a member of the East Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Emmett Petty and Mrs. Albert Langley of McKinney and Mrs. Abe Suwal of Dallas; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Hartman, Mrs. Lucy Chaney, Mrs. Betty Sanford and Mrs. Ida Noles of McKinney and Mrs. Hattie Holt of Allen; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
