Miss Barbara Mallow, 1708 ½ S. Ninth Street, Waco, became the bride of Gerald Eugene Jungjohan, 1714 Ave. O, Plano, on August 28 at 2 p.m. The couple repeated their wedding vows in the Prayer Chapel of the Tidwell Bible Building at Baylor University, Waco., Dr. John Davidson, Professor of Religious Psychology at Baylor, officiating.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. C. Mallow, Route 3, McKinney, was dressed a blue silk suit with white hat and accessories. The suit was designed with box jacket and slim skirt. She carried a white Bible, topped with a bridal bouquet of carnations. She was given in marriage by her father.
Mr. Jungjohan is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Jungjohan of 4213 35th Ave. Moline, Ill.
Honor attendants to the couple were Miss Kay White of Mexia and Cody Hunter Phillips of Carlsbad, New Mexico. Miss White was dressed in a yellow silk suit, with white accessories and a corsage of carnations.
The couple left for a trip to South Texas after which they will live in Waco.
Mrs. Jungjohan is a McKinney High School graduate and attended Texas Woman’s University, Denton and Baylor University. Mr. Jungjohhan graduated from Moline Community High, attended Moline City College and Arizona State University.
Among the wedding guests were parents of the couple and Dr. and Mrs. C.O. Smith of Baylor University where he is Professor of English.
