Services for Brice Anthony Crump, 83, of McKinney, who died Wednesday at North Texas Medical Center, will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Pecan Grove chapel. Burial will be in Pecan Grove Cemetery with the Revs. Leslie Hames and Tom Wilkins officiating.
Mr. Crump was the son of Joe Anthony and Burtcy Wilmeth Crump. He was born Sept. 2, 1911, in McKinney. He married Willie Miller on Jan. 26, 1935, in Dallas.
He founded Crump’s Garden in 1940 with his wife, Willie, and his mother, Mrs. Burtcy Crump. He was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James William Crump.
He is survived by his wife, Willie of McKinney; three sons, Bill, Joe and Tom Crump, all of McKinney; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and several other relatives.
Visitation will be 7 to 9 tonight at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
