Funeral services for Laura L. Bryant, 80, of McKinney who died Saturday in a Waco hospital will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Horn-Harris-Crouch Chapel with Rev. Ricky Hargraves officiating. Interment will be in Pecan Grove Cemetery.
Bryant was born July 7, 1906 in Greenville, the daughter of George C. and Lessie Johns Gideon and married Lewis C. Bryant in 1944 in Oklahoma.
She was a member of the King Memorial Baptist Church and a nurses aide.
Survivors include eight brothers: N. T. Gideon of Grandbury, J. W. Gideon of Rockwall, H. B. Gideon of Waco, G. W. Gideon of Borger, Q. R. Gideon of Rio Hondo, Horace B. Gideon of Odessa, H. E. and N. N. Gideon both of Houston; two sisters; Rubye Cox of Borger and Josephine Gideon of Dallas.
