PROF. EUGENE KERR AND WIFE ARE VISITORS

Prof. Eugene Kerr and wife of Baton Rouge, La., spent a portion of Monday and Tuesday in McKinney visiting his uncle, Will Kerr and his host of old time friends in this city and county.
Prof. Kerr is a son of the late Lawson Kerr of this county, and is well known to many of our residents. He was Dean Engineer of a large sugar company for several years and spent considerable time in Cuba. At present he is consulting engineer for large sugar refineries. He is a graduate of Texas A. & M. College and one of the leaders in the sugar industry of the nation. From McKinney they motored out to his old home place Northwest of McKinney, as well as visiting relatives and friends in Denton and Fort Worth.
Other points on their itinerary include Monterrey, Old Mexico; Houston, San Antonio, Beaumont, as well as points in West Texas.
