Bob McFarland Passed Away Early Monday

Robert Edward (Bob) McFarland, 1204 West. St., died Monday morning in Coliin Memorial Hospital. Funeral serves will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Harris-Horn chapel, Rev. Harold Wasson, pastor of Immanuel Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson Chapel cemetery.
A McKinney fireman since 1952, he was born Feb. 28, 1905 in Kingston, Texas, the son of Curtis and Anna Bell Rowe McFarland. He was a member of the Baptist church.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Roger Dale, Jimmy Doyle, and Ricky Lynn McFarland, all of McKinney; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Williams, Dianna Kay and Debra Sue McFarland, all of McKinney; Mrs. James Vandergriff, of Allen; three Brothers, Earl and Tom McFarland, McKinney; James McFarland, Garland; three sisters, Mrs. Jesse Cates, Mrs. Myron Crank, McKinney; Mrs. O. T. Darland, Plano.
His parents, a brother and one son, Robert lee who died in 1935, preceded him in death.
