Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the North Baptist Church at McKinney for Garnett L. Morrow, 37, popular Plano banker and former McKinney banker.
A native of Princeton, Mr. Morrow lived at 3405 Rockbank Drive at Plano at the time of his death. He was active in the First Baptist Church, the Fine Arts League, the Rotary Club and the Heritage Association in that city.
He was born June 27, 1939, the son of Mr. and Mrs.L. R. Morrow of Princeton. He was associated wit the Central National Bank at McKinney and had other business interests there before accepting the vice president's position at the Plano bank.
He is survived by his wife, the former Melba Holland, to whom he was married Set. 3, 1960, at McKinney; a son, Todd Morrow, and a daughter, Jennifer Morrow, all of Plano; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Morrow of Princeton; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Phillips of Allen and Mrs. Carol Scoggins of Leonard; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Langston and Mrs. Flora Morrow, all of Princeton.
The funeral services were conducted by the Reverends Joe Bob Alexander and Travis Berry, and interment was in Ridgeview Memorial Park under the direction of Harris-Horn-Crouch Funeral Home at McKinney.
