MRS. IDA CARMAN PASSES AWAY EARLY THURSDAY

Mrs. Ida Mae Carman, 87, died Thursday at Freeport, Texas. She resided at 508 Erwin Street, this city, having spent most of her life in Collin County.
She was born April 22, 1878 in Kentucky, and was a member of the North Baptist Church here.
Surviving are two sons: Dr. Frank Carman, Dallas; Harold Carman, Waco; two daughters, Mrs. Henry Mansfield, McKinney; Mrs. Bertha Whiteker, Lake Jackson, Texas; four grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Her husband H. E. (Bud) Carman, preceded her in death.
Turrentine-Jackson Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Services are 2:30 p.m. Friday at North Baptist church, Rev. Joe Bob Alexander, officiating. Interment will be in Pecan Grove Cemetery.
