Collin County Constable Precinct 1 Jerry Kunkle was recently re-elected to the board of directors of the Texas Justices of the Peace and Constables Association.
Kunkle is serving in his second year on the board of directors of the association that has more than 3,000 members.
He also serves on the association’s legislative committee, a lobbying group that represents the association’s interests in Austin.
Kunkle has been a constable for nine years and has been working for Collin County for 22 years.
Kunkle’s precinct serves the cities of McKinney, Allen, Princeton, Melissa, Anna, Culleoka, Westminster and Lucas.
He is also a former board member of the Texas Association of Counties, as a representative for more than 750 elected constables in Texas.
Kunkle was re-elected to the board in Abilene at the Texas Justices of the Peace and Constables Association 51st Annual Convention.
