Obituary.
Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Gilbert, 84, of McKinney who died Wednesday evening at Wysong Memorial Hospital will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Horn-Harris-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Troy Culpepper officiating.
Interment will be at Stoney Point Cemetery with Horn-Harris-Crouch Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Gilbert was born Jan. 6, 1901 in Anna, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Davis, and married William G. Gilbert Oct. 12, 1919 in Anna.
She was a member of Town North Baptist church in Denton.
Survivors include one son Garnet Gilbert of Arlington; three daughters Mrs. Wanda Hand of Conroe, Rita Kemp of Shreveport and Lottie Nelson of Greenville; two sisters Mrs. Pearl Wolford of McKinney and Lora Davis of Mexia; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
