Erudia - Frisco
Erudia was the name of the area around present-day downtown Frisco. The Erudia post office opened on June 17, 1895 with Wm. H. Bristol as postmaster. The name of the post office was changed to Frisco on April 24, 1902.
The name Erudia was probably taken from a book entitled "Erudia, the Foreign Missionary to Our World," written by William B. Allen. Rev. Allen was an early settler in the Frisco area.
