Five Joyces Celebrate Golden Anniversarys [sic]
Five sons of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Joyce and their wives have celebrated golden wedding anniversaries within the past nine years.
The Joyce boys, John, Jack, Carl, Cecil and Floyd are all natives of Rising Star and have lived in this area a major part of their lives.
The dates of these golden occasions are as follows:
Mr. and Mrs. John Joyce of Fort Worth on April 4, 1965.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Joyce of Alpine on June 26, 1968. Jack Joyce is now deceased.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Joyce on March 2, 1967.
Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Joyce of Rising Star on March 7, 1970.
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Joyce on Feb. 17, 1974.
This must be some sort of a record and we extend sincere congratulations to this unusual family.
