OBSEQUIES FOR MRS. EMMA HOWARD HELD TUESDAY AFTERNOON

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Turrentine-Jackson Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Emma L. Howard, 86, of 1513 West. St., this city. She died Sunday in Shady Grove Rest Home, Dallas, after a year’s illness.
Rev. Earl J. Rogers of the Full Gospel Assembly of God Church, of which she was a member, conducted the service, interment following in Scott Cemetery.
Mrs. Howard was a native of Collin County, born September 6, 1873, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Bennett. She was married to Charles I. Howard November 7, 1897. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. S. C. Brown of Dallas; Mrs. W. M. Bass of Grand Saline; four sons, Ollie Howard, of McKinney; C. C., Thomas, and Walter Bennett, all of Dallas; a brother, Clyde Bennett of Fort Worth; a sister, Mrs. Ella Black of Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
