Charles Day, formerly of McKinney, was promoted to assistant vice president of the First National Bank in Garland by the Board of Directors, during the meeting January 21, 1966. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Day of McKinney.
Charles is a graduate of McKinney High School and later attended Navarro Junior College in Corsicana. he was employed with First Citizens Bank, Dallas for four and a half years before going to First National in Garland, June, 1963.
