MRS. ALICE CHASTAIN PASSES AWAY AT HOME HERE SATURDAY.

Mrs. Alice Josephine Chastain, 72, died at her home, 211 Andrews street Saturday morning at 8:50 o’clock. She was born in Oklahoma, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abe Overstreet, but had resided in McKinney for many years.
Her survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Claud McCandless and Mrs. Jim Hines, both of McKinney; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three stepsons, Luther Chastain of California; Eber Chastain of Greenville; Fitzhugh Moore of Dallas; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Pat Barnard of Lubbock and Mrs. M. D. Dickerson of McKinney.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon 2:30 p.m. in the Crouch-Moore Chapel conducted by Rev. Earl Rodgers, Rev. Weldon Drake and Rev. Charles Gresham with burial in Pecan Grove Cemetery.
