Frank Bickham
FRANK BICKHAM, 80, OLD-TIME PRINTER, PAYS US A VISIT
McKinney Daily Courier Gazette, August 5, 1923
Frank , 80, an old-time printer, who has worked in and out of Texas for more than forty-five years, dropped in on us Saturday. He is a Kentuckian by birth, and says that his age will not keep him from taking a "mint julep" yet if an opportunity should present itself. The old-time road printers like Frank Bickham are almost a thing of the past. They wrought well in their day. The fast type-setting machine has practically put them out of business, especially, one of the age of Frank Bickham. While Frank is 80, yet is a bright entertaining talker, and we were pleased to meet and talk over old-times with him. We wish him good luck down the shady-lane of life.
