COLLIN NATIVE PASSES AWAY IN WHITESBORO
Tom Fair, 82, of Gunter died Friday in a Whitesboro Rest Home. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church of Gunter, Keith Gant, officiating. Interment was in the Gunter Cemetery under direction of Morgan-Scott Funeral Home, Celina.
A native of Collin County, he was born March 15, 1883, and was a retired stockman-land owner at the time of his death. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Georgia Fair; two sons, Marvin and John B. Fair of Gunter; three grandsons, Tom, Dick and Harry Fair. He was preceded in death by two sons.
