Funeral services for William T. (Jack) Grimes, 86, of McKinney, who died Thursday in a McKinney hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with the Rev. Harold Wasson officiating.
Interment will be in Furneaux Cemetery (Denton County) with Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in charge.
He was born October 10, 1897 in Texas, the son of A. H. and Catherine Grimes. He was a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one son, Woodrow Grimes, McKinney; one daughter, Ollie Gunter, Lake Tawakoni; one brother, George Grimes, Leonard; four sisters, Dice Arriola, Grapevine; Elsie Collinsworth, Denton; Alice Boenker, Lewisville; Annie Miller, Brownwood; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
