Funeral services for Walter Edmond, 70, of Route 1, Princeton, who passed away today in a McKinney hospital, will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Horn-Harris-Crouch Funeral Chapel with interment in Rowlett Cemetery.
He was born October 4, 1911 in Collin County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Edmond. He married Allie Duncan on October 24, 1931 in Prosper; was a member of the Methodist faith and was owner of a grocery store and service station.
Survivors include his wife of Princeton; one son, Leonard Edmond of Princeton; three sisters, Maye Rose, Loretta McCluskey and Emma Spurgin, all of McKinney; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 p.m. Monday night for visitation.
