Funeral services for Charlie F. Karnaghan, 81, Route 4, McKinney, who died Wednesday morning in a McKinney hospital, will be held 2 p.m. Friday in Horn-Harris-Crouch Chapel with Rev. Bob Dees and Rev. Leslie Hames officiating. Interment will be in Ridgeview Memorial Park.
A retired farmer, he was born Sept. 9, 1900 in Searcy, Ark., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tom Karnaghan, and married Blanche Lochridge, Dec. 19, 1928 in Howe. He was a deacon in the Melissa First Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, of McKinney; one sister, Mrs. Inez Moody of McKinney; one brother, Pete Karnaghan of Melissa; several nieces and nephews.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 p.m. today.
