Funeral services for Jennie Jenkins, 96, of McKinney, who died Sunday at the Pavilion Nursing Home, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Horn-Harris-Crouch Chapel with the Rev. Harold Tomlinson officiating. Interment will be in Pecan Grove Memorial Park with Horn-Harris-Crouch Funeral Home in charge of the services.
Jenkins was born June 11, 1888 in Tennessee, the daughter of W. B. “Buck” Corley and Laura Self, and married Carl Jenkins, Oct. 8, 1912 in McKinney.
She was a member of the East McKinney Christian Church.
Survivors include her daughter: Irene White of McKinney; sister, Pearl Noblitt of McKinney; two granddaughters; one step-grandson; four great-grandchildren and four great-great-great-grandchildren. [sic]
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 tonight
