TWO HIGHWAYMEN ROB W. A. EVANS AT EAST FORK BRIDGE SUNDAY NIGHT.

W. A. Evans was held up and robbed of $27 in cash, Sunday night, by two highwaymen at East Fork bridge just east of McKinney as he was coming into town. Mr. Evans, who is a traveling agent for a picture enlarging firm, was in a buggy. After getting his money and cursing him the robbers bade him drive on. He reported to officers as soon as he reached town but as he could not recognize the highwaymen their apprehension has not yet been effected. Mr. Evans is well known at Verona where he has lived for several years.
