FUNERAL SERVICES HELD TUESDAY FOR PRINCETON WOMAN
Mrs. Alice P. Durham, a native of Tennessee, passed away at her home in Princeton at 12:20 p.m. Monday. Mrs. Durham, a long time resident of Collin County, had been in failing health the past several months.
Born October 4, 1877, Mrs. Durham was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Butler. She married J. L. Durham on August 21, 1898, and to whom were born three children, all of whom survive: Mrs. Ettie Snowden of Princeton; Mrs. Ethel Crawley, of Dallas and Bethel Durham of Prosper.
One brother, John Butler of Princeton; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Hall of Dallas and Mrs. Doll Gay of Anna; and five grandchildren, also survive.
Funeral services were held at 4 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the Princeton Methodist Church with interment following in Pleasant Grove. Rev. John Hilger and Rev. Felix Kindle officiated. Crouch-Moore Funeral Home of this city was in charge of arrangements.
