BRYAN REUNION HELD AT PLANO

Observing the first reunion of the O’Bryan, later changed to Bryan, family, who came from Ireland to America in the early days, first settling in South Carolina, later moving to Georgia, thence to Texas, sixty descendants gathered at the City Park at Plano, Sunday, August 30, for an all-day picnic and reminiscenses.
The only living children, of the family of ten, of the late Robert Sylvanus and Laura (Wimberly) Bryan, who settled near Plano in 1892 are: E. G. Bryan, Mrs. Lizzie M. Clark, Mrs. Kate Berry and Mrs. Fannie Bradley.
D. F. Bryan of Garland is the oldest living member of the family.
It was voted to have another such occasion of the 4th Sunday in August of 1937. Miss Imogene Berry of Allen was elected secretary and Miss Frances Bryan of Plano historian.

Bryan and daughter of McKinney; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wilder and daughter of Wichita Falls; Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Bryan, Joe Bryan, Mrs. Lizzie M. Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Glenn and sons, Mrs. Jennie B. Orr of Dallas; Mrs. W. P. Bryan and family, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Holley and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Haun, Misses Anna Bell and Fannie Lou Bryan, Mrs. Fenton Harvey and sons, Jimmie and Bowman Bryan, of Plano; Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Glenn of Krum; Miss Kathryn Cave of Tyler, and G.
