BIRTHDAY DINING IN BLOOMDALE HOME SUNDAY

A most enjoyable day was spent in the home of J. W. Jenkins of Bloomdale Sunday, August 22 in honor of Mrs. J. T. Jenkins of Alba, Texas. It was her birthday anniversary. She is the mother of J. W. Jenkins of Bloomdale and Elzie Jenkins of McDonald. Those present Sunday for the enjoyable affair were Mr. and J. J. Jenkins of Alba, Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Jenkins and children of Grand Saline; Mr. and Mrs. Top Jenkins and children of Sulphur Bluff, Mr. and Mrs. Elzie Jenkins and children of McDonald, all sons of Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins, and a sister Mrs. Lizzie Pruitt and daughter, Earline; Mr. and Mrs. Jess Davis of Bloomdale; Mrs. Mirtle Casey and children of Rock Hill; Mrs. R. L. Bibby and children of Lindale. All brought well-filled baskets which were spread picnic style. During the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Tinsley Scalf and daughter of McDonald attended the reunion.
