H. O. ARNOLD DIED WEDNESDAY AT HOME NEAR ANNA

H. O., a retired Collin County farmer, who has made his home east of Anna since 1898, passed away at his home there about 8:30 o’clock Wednesday morning. Mr. Arnold had been ill for the past several months. He was 87 years of age.
Mr. Arnold was born in Kentucky July 28, 1858, the son of Williams Arnold and Cilicia Judd Arnold. He was a member of the Christian Church.
Survivors include four children, Forest Arnold of Allen, Mrs. O. D. Cravens of Anna, Carl Arnold of Houston, Gertrude Arnold at home; one sister, Mrs. Mary Connover of Kansas. His wife passed away Nov. 1, 1938.
Funeral services under the direction of Crouch-Moore Funeral Home are to be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon in the Anna Christian Church with Dr. Clifford S. Weaver, pastor of the First Christian Church here, officiating. Interment is to be made in the Highland Cemetery with Abb Ashmore, Bernie Bryan, Louis Doyle Huggins, J. C. Lewis, Waton Cravens and Paul Cravens acting as pallbearers.
