Lee Etta Moore
McKinney - Services for Mrs. Lee Etta Moore, 89-year-old retired McKinney school teacher who died Wednesday in a Houston hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Big Springs Baptist Church at Garland.
The Rev. Mark Bector will officiate and burial will be in the Big Springs Cemetery. Horn-Harris-Crouch Funeral Home of McKinney is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Moore was born in Collin county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Harvey and married Louie Moore Feb. 3, 1933, in Durant, Okla.
She taught 14 years at J. L. Greer Elementary School in McKinney before her retirement and was a member of McKinney's North Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Lois Whitehead of Houston; sisters, Mrs. Nannie Corley Bowling of Garland, Mrs. Tressie June Davis of Dallas, and Mrs. Ruth Steward of Mabank; and brothers , Raymond Harvey of Dallas and nelson Harvey of Lucas.
The family will be at the funeral home form 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
