Funeral services for Thomas Harrington Cole, 87, of McKinney who died Sunday at North Texas Medical Center were held at 11 a.m. today in the Horn-Harris-Crouch Chapel with Dr. James Puckett officiating. Interment was in Restland Memorial Park with Horn-Harris-Crouch Funeral Home in charge of the services.
Cole was born July 31, 1899 in Dublin, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Cole, and married Thelma Griffin, June 15, 1924 in Dallas.
He was retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad and was a member of the First Baptist Church of McKinney. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge for over 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma of McKinney; son, Kenneth Cole of Farmers Branch; sister, Dorothy McLelland of Dallas; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
