EVA MAE HENDERSON
Newspaper, 1986. Funeral services for Eva Mae Henderson, 75, of Allen, who died Thursday at University Nursing Center, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Ben Hubert officiating. Interment will be in Restland Memorial Park with Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in charge of the services. Mrs. Henderson was born Oct. 14, 1911 in Plano, the daughter of J. W. Story and Maud Forgason. She was a retired secretary with the VA hospital, and a member of the First Christian Church of Allen. Survivors include her brother, Alvis C. Story of Allen; two nephews: Marion Hart of Ft. Worth, Chester Story of McKinney; three nieces: Eunice Mink of Ft. Worth, Edith Patterson of Arlington and June Snoddy of Allen. Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her husband, G. W. Henderson; three brothers and one sister. |

Letter. W. K. Henderson “located in 1866 at Mantua, Collin County, where he was engaged for seven or eight years, selling goods, but closed out his mercantile interests in 1872 and began farming. Moving, three years after, to Van Alstyne, he engaged again in mercantile pursuits,... In November, 1866, Mr. Henderson married Miss Jennie Morton, daughter of Eli W.
