CLAUD DONALDSON PASSES AWAY IN SOUTH COLLIN

Well-Known Farmer And Citizen, Succumbs At Home Early Friday Morning; Funeral Services Saturday Afternoon.
Claude Donaldson, 54, who lived Southeast of Plano, died at his home Friday morning at 12:20 o’clock after a week’s illness following a stroke of paralysis. Mr. Donaldson was born March 11, 1886 in Collin County and had been a resident of this county all his life. His parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Donaldson, were residents of this county for some 50 years. He was a member of the Wilcox Street Church of Christ and attended services there regularly.
Surviving children are: Mrs. G. H. Pamplin, McKinney, R. M. Donaldson, Dallas; Miss Madeline Donaldson, McKinney; Darrell Donaldson, McKinney, and Miss Doris Donaldson, at home.
Surviving brothers and sisters are as follows: R. T. Donaldson, Cleburne, Texas; L. R. Donaldson, Tulsa, Okla.; Mrs. Charlie Watson, of the Wetsel community, and Mrs. John Rose of the Lovejoy community.
Surviving grandchildren are: Gerry Pamplin, Gary Neil Pamplin, Mary Donaldson and Claudie Donaldson.
His mother and father preceded him to the grave.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Forest Grove Church, with interment following in the Forest Grove Cemetery. The Crouch Funeral Home of this city will be in charge of funeral arrangements.
