Services for Mr. Ed. Luscombe, 79, of Weston, who died Sunday at Denton Community Hospital in Denton, were 2 pa.m. today at the First Baptist Church of Weston with the Revs. Steve Sweeney and Clyde Moore officiating, Burial was in Cottage Hill Cemetery under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors.
Mr. Luscombe was born on Nov. 3, 1915, in Weston, the son of Robert Henry and Mary Connie Loftice Luscumbe. He was a school and a member of W.O.W.. He was a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church in Weston and a member of the Weston City Council.
Survivors include his sisters, Juanita (Sis) Mugg of Weston and Glendora Ross of Amarillo; and several nieces and nephews.
