JOHN FLETCHER GRIFFITH FAMILY
Biography.
John Fletcher Griffith was born about 1811 in Tennessee and was married to Edith Elvira Morrill who was born in Tennessee in 1814. Both died in Collin County and are believed to be buried in the Snow Hill Cemetery near Blue Ridge. The family came to live in Collin County in 1861 with their daughter’s family, the Sam McKinneys. Their children were: Willial W. Griffith who married Crissy, the widow of Henry Echols, Clarisy E. married Dixon, Addiver died unmarried and Virginia who married Samuel McKinney.
