MRS. MARGARET DUNCAN PASSES AWAY AT HOME OF SON NEAR FRISCO

Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Duncan, 79, R-2, Frisco, died Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the home of a son, Dan Duncan, at Frisco, after a few days illness. She was born in Van Buren, Ark., June 3, 1878, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Owens, but had lived in Collin County since she was 12 years old. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are two sons, Albert Duncan of California; Dan Duncan of Frisco; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Cain of Grass Valley, Calif.; Mrs. Carrie Evans of Kerrville; ten grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Martin Duncan, and two children, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in Turrentine-Jackson Chapel, conducted by Rev. McSpadden of Denton, with burial in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
